Weekly Project Update – November 27, 2020

The following work is scheduled over the next three weeks:

Garden State Parkway Mileposts 140 to 143

On November 14, 2020, traffic on the Northbound Garden State Parkway between mileposts 140.9 and 142.1 has been shifted to the left in a new traffic pattern. All existing travel lanes remain open, but lane widths have been reduced. 

On November 21, 2020, traffic on the Southbound Garden State Parkway between mileposts 141.0 and 142.2 has been shifted to the left in a new traffic pattern. All existing travel lanes remain open, but lane widths have been reduced. 

On or about December 3, 2020, installation of precast concrete construction barrier around work zones along the Right Shoulder in the Southbound direction between mileposts 141.0 and 142.2 will begin. This work may require periodic single lane closures.

On or about December 7, 2020, installation of precast concrete construction barrier around work zones along the Right Shoulder in the Northbound direction between mileposts 140.9 and 142.1 will continue. This work may require periodic single lane closures.

Delivery of the construction materials into the work zones.  This work may require periodic single lane closures.

Bridge No. 140.2, GSP under Galloping Hill Road

No work planned.

Bridge No. 141.3, GSP over Route 22 EB

Installation of timber shielding and other temporary support structures under the bridge will continue. This work may require periodic single lane closures on Route 22 EB from 8PM to 5AM.

Bridge No. 141.7, GSP over Morris Avenue (Route 82)

Installation of timber shielding and other temporary support structures under the bridge will continue. This work may require periodic single lane closures from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Bridge No. 141.9, GSP over Route 22 WB

Installation of timber shielding and other temporary support structures under the bridge will continue. This work may require periodic single lane closures on Route 22 WB from 8PM to 5AM.
