ADVISORY: NOVEMBER 9, 2020
On or about November 9, 2020, traffic on both the Northbound and Southbound Garden State Parkway between mileposts 140.9 and 142.1 will be shifted to the left in a new traffic pattern. All existing travel lanes will remain open, but lane widths will be reduced. The installation of the new traffic pattern will be performed under temporary nightly lane closures. There will also be temporary half-ramp closures of the exit ramps at Northbound 139A, 139B and 140 and Southbound 141 in order to install the new traffic pattern, but the exit ramps will remain open at all times.
Several portable variable message signs (PVMS) alerting motorists of the construction and new alignment will be placed in both Northbound and Southbound directions on the Garden State Parkway.
